Hello everyone! We are so happy to premiere this very special episode of “Let’s Geek with Yaz & Cat”!

Today we have the honor of speaking with Lanny Xtravaganza (Laniel Calderon from the iconic “House Xtravaganza”. House of Xtravaganza was the first Latin/Hispanic House of the Ballroom scene. Today Laniel Xtravaganza will speak to us about his life, how he became part of the ballroom, educate us on the ballroom scene, his house, and educate the future children to pay homage.

We will also speak with Lanny Xtravaganza about what it was like back in NY during the AIDS Pandemic and how it affected the LBGTQ+ & Ballroom. We’ll also learn about the unique House parents & children who have worked hard to keep the reputation of Xtravaganza strong.
