As we launch into a brand new year, host Bridgette Tomlin is launching a book club for the year 2023. Each quarter she will welcome a guest to discuss the featured book she's reading. In today's episode, we kick off Sanctuary's book club by inviting guest Leann Cherry to discuss Carey Nieuwhof's book, At Your Best. Built into five segments, Carey's best-selling book, At Your Best: How to Get Time, Energy, and Priorities Working in Your Favor, is designed to help every leader escape stress and begin living at a sustainable pace. Leann Cherry and her husband Travis have been married and in full-time vocational ministry together for almost 22 years. Leann grew up in the Northeast part of the country in a ministry family and is a third generation pastor. Leann and Travis have two children and have served in pastoral ministry on church staffs in MO, CA, MD, AL, TX, now making Jenks, OK their home for the past seven years. Throughout Leann’s years in ministry, she has loved travelling and speaking for women’s, girls’, and youth events in different seasons, has written curriculum, and has served in a wide variety of roles throughout over two decades of ministry. She currently serves as co-Lead Pastor with her husband at their two-year old church plant in Tulsa.  

Leann loves all things Starbucks, ice cream, dark chocolate, Hallmark, holidays, celebrations, travelling, time with family and friends, and believes in taking a photo to document everything! But ultimately, Leann is personally passionate about women knowing their true identity in Christ and experience the full LIFE God has for us all to live!
