Dictionary.com defines hospitality as “generous and friendly treatment of visitors and guests or hospitable treatment.” But what does God's Word say about it? Throughout Scripture, you won't see the word “hospitality” but a handful of times. But the ministry of hospitality is woven in and out of Biblical encounters--through the local body of believers, in the home, and between ministers. In this episode, host Bridgette Tomlin and her guest Pam King candidly discuss the importance and mechanics of hospitality in a variety of settings. How do you host? Who or what is the priority? Pam reminds us:  we are all called to be hospitable. So, let's talk about hospitality.

Born into a pastor’s home, Pam has been in full-time ministry her entire life. Alongside her husband, Jim, Pam has traveled around the world in ministry for over 30 years in missionary evangelism--a total of 41 years in ministry! Pam was healed of a rare, incurable illness 30+ years ago. Since that time, she has inspired congregations as she shares her “fight of faith,” through the principles of healing that she has learned, as well as her unwavering belief in the power of the Word of God.

After her love and passion for God, her husband, children, and grandchildren are the love of Pam’s life.  You've not seen a "GiGi" more in love with her grandkids! In her spare time she enjoys shopping and movies with her husband, as well as coffee with friends. Friendship and relationship building are of great priority to her.

Pam has a passion to encourage people to live to their full potential and to live out their God given purpose. Her desire to mentor young women, especially those in ministry, is what makes her a vital asset to the Sanctuary team.
