You know what the Oscars was missing? Apparently Outstanding Popular Film! We discuss that #hip appeal to millennials, Brent being #TeamJacob despite the name sounding incomplete, Quik Trip (the best convenience store in all the land) carrying RC Cola, and we beg Dr Pepper/Snapple Group to finally sponsor our RC love!
Also, Steven watched Predator, Predator 2, and Predators all in anticipation of The Predator coming out soon (that’s a lot of Predator). Steven also recommends The Discovery on Netflix and The One I Love by the same director. Then Brent regales us with the lovely tale of Malibu Comics' Prime in another addition of Tales From the Quarter Bin with Prime Vol. 1: Prime Time!
Finally, we continue our Marvel comics reading with the 2018 Free Comic Book Day issue of The Avengers and we also discuss Shazam Vol. 1 (2013), DC’s New 52 being mostly a bust, and why Shazam is no longer Captain Marvel!
