49. Bad Joke / Worse Joke

Embark with us on a wild, wired journey through madness and popculture during this ultra fun, late-recorded episode! We discuss bachelor life not being what you’d think, continue Soda Chat where we examine a new theory that we Beetlejuice’d RC cola into further existence, and more! We revisit the Bumblebee trailer to get Steven’s surprise opinion but then get sidetracked into how our podcast will cause Zune to become the leader of the free world. (It was a late night.)

Then we stumble into a new segment “Bad Joke / Worse Joke” with a rousing first entry, talk about Brian Michael Bendis’ Man of Steel run (minor spoilers for the movie Justice League), Steven naps to The Toys That Made Us, we ponder flesh drapes as a valuable interior design piece, and Brent teaches how to interpret album covers with new music including: Mike Shinoda’s “Post Traumatic”, Kanye West’s “Ye” and the other produced albums of his Montana Coast Posse, “Kids See Ghosts” from Kanye and Kid Cudi, “Daytona” by Pusha T, and “Nasir” by Nas.

To wrap it all up Steven gives a progress update into the weird and wonderful Twin Peaks, Brent expounds his love for Incredibles 2, Steven re-watched Boondock Saints with mixed results, and the guys discuss the merits of an X-Men/X2/Logan trilogy!
