Today we finally finish out DocuMAYntary month that had to get pushed into one week of DocJUNEmentary month! We review the 2022 Netflix documentary ’SR.’ which follows Robert Downey Jr. as he connects with his father, Robert Downey Sr., through art, love, and a shared life of drugs and interesting experiences. We take inspiration from Sr.’s work in the underground, counterculture movement and deliver one of our most wild and raucous shows yet!
We also talk about The Fall Guy and Furiosa tanking at the box office, Richard Linklater’s first film ‘SLACKER’ and his particular brand of ‘hangout movie’, we create a new game called ‘We’ve (Definitely) Seen This Movie’, and Steven starts a rap feud!
