Today on The Kondrat Podcast,  I sat down with my friend and mentor Terry Andryo - a person who has dedicated his life to building community.  We discuss some of his philosophies on business, health and the importance of strong family and friendship.

A wise man once told me that it’s important to check in on everyone from time to time - even our leaders that we think are bulletproof.  Well for me, Terry is that bulletproof leader - and it was time for me to check in!

A few weeks ago Terry shared an article with me about Michael J. Fox - a Canadian-born actor that was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease almost 30 years ago.  Terry is also living with this disease and sees a lot of parallels - they’re both Canadian, similar age, happily married to people they can’t imagine being without!  Parkinson’s Disease is a serious thing , but Terry reminds me that it’s also important to have a sense of humor about it - as he invites me into the washroom to help him “freshen up”!

And despite everything, Terry wouldn’t change a thing.  He wakes up everyday with purpose - goes to a job he loves, takes long walks with friends, and comes home to an amazing family.

I am grateful that people like Terry make time to meet with me and share their story.  I hope you enjoy this surprisingly interesting conversation.
