Bayyina Black is Global Sustainability and Impact Manager at R/GA, which helps brands and companies grow by enabling them to change. Fast. In addition, Bayyina is a multi-talented changemaker at the cross-section of three increasingly vital fields: social impact, tech, and storytelling.

Let's go down the list of SOME of the ways this incredible human-being has spent her life and career:

She's a licensed drone pilot.
She has been to 32 countries to-date, with her travels including Ghana, Brazil, and Cuba.
She's the co-founder and VR filmmaker behind The Other System.
She has a great answer to the question "where are you from?".

In addition, this episode features the podcast debut of my mom, Dr. Melodie Toby, PhD! She is co-owner and Chief Financial Officer of Right at Home of Essex County. Prior to owning Right at Home, she had a career in corporate finance and consulting as well as more than thirty years as a full-time college professor. She retired from her position as a tenured faculty member at Kean University in Union, NJ, after teaching in the areas of Sociology, Management, Ethics, Religion, Africana, and Jewish Studies. Melodie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, from Pace University; a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University; an MPhil and PhD in Religion and Society from Drew University. Melodie is working closely with her daughter, Maeghan, to honor her late husband Moses' legacy by constantly striving to improve the quality of life for those they serve in Essex County, New Jersey. Love my mom.
