This week I sit down with the Mohini Malhotra, Development Economist, Georgetown Professor, and Social Entrepreneur.

This guest is special to me and inspires me for the many hats she has put on. As a leadership professor I was excited to talk with her about those who have been impactful and particularly meaningful to her. Here’s what she shares:

“This person is wise, she is humble, there is nothing about her persona that is inconsistent with her beliefs. How she dresses, to how she lives, to what she practices, to the values of the organizations that she has launched, everything about her is so consistent and I think that is part of her leadership style. That is something I learned, it isn't just talking about your values, it’s about living them, in every word and every action. It is who you are.”

The leaders I have been surrounded by have a common trait: Humility. While they may “sit on my couch” for an episode to talk about how they lead, they have all been quick to share with me the people who helped get them there.
