Steve Whitmire is a legendary puppeteer and actor known for bringing voice and life to some of the most endeared and iconic characters ever created. He worked on The Muppets both in tv and the films as Kermit the Frog, Rizzo the Rat and many others. As well as Sesame Street as Ernie, Fraggle Rock as Sprocket the dog and Wembley Fraggle. He has been part of some of the most famous and for its time cutting edge masterpieces such as The Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal. In this interview Steve shares his amazing stories of his prolific career, behind-the-scenes, what it was like working with Jim Henson (creator of The Muppets) and Frank Oz (Miss Piggy, Fozzy Bear, Yoda), also his new show Cave-iN Weldon the I.T Guy. He has been entertaining the world with his amazing work for over 40 years, which has passed down generationally from us as kids down to our children and his work will continue to live on and inspire generations to come.
