This week our panel is joined from beautiful Barcelona by eco-socialist in exile Saoirse McHugh. We swap stories about lessons from Spanish city planning before diving in to real talk about peat extraction, FF & FG's political theatre of pretending to care about small farmers and the Covid fourth wave. An impromptu debate on the slogan of system change, and the strengths and weaknesses of boycotts sparks some interesting questions for future episodes and ideas for raging polemics.

One issue we never got to discuss was this shocking story of the Irish judicial system completely failing to take violence against women seriously - content warning, the article contains information of sexual assault: https://www.thejournal.ie/sexual-assault-3-5605157-Nov2021
