Lecture on Bhagavad-Gita, Chapter 2, Verses 46-59Lecture given by Dulal Chandra dasa on February 3rd, 2011 in Winston Salem, NC on the Bhagavad-gita As It Is.The spiritual benefits or knowledge and detachment comes automatically to one who endeavors in devotional service, no extraneous effort is required. By developing a foundation for spiritual advancement in our lives a taste, relish, of transcendence naturally develops. The spiritualist is not interested in renunciation for renunciations sake, rather by culturing Krishna consciousness one will naturally develop detachment. Renunciation alone will untimely fade if spiritual taste is not awakened by the practices of devotional service.
