In this episode, I am honored to have my friend Daniel as he shares what it's like living behind his eyes. Daniel is diagnosed with Asperger's which is a form of Autism Spectrum Disorder, a developmental disorder that can lead to having a difficult time relating to others socially, and their behavior and thinking patterns can be rigid and repetitive. Throughout the episode Daniel opens up about a wide range of topics to better help you understand him as a person, not a diagnosis, some things we discuss are therapies, struggles, schooling, family, communication, sensory, routine, work, social cues, relationships, coping mechanisms, resources, and more as you find several gems throughout.

The big takeaway that I hope you come away with from this episode is that in our lives, we will cross paths with people that change us. As we meet someone new unknowingly we try to place them in boxes or categories. Sometimes you can see someone is different on the surface, hear it in their voice, or they will share something with you about themselves that changes your perspective. Never judge that person as a result even if it's an unknown to you, take the time to become knowledgeable because that person may change your world like Daniel has done for me.
