In this episode I chat with April King, Co-Founder of Four Kings Kitchen. Her business started as a hobby. She used a recipe for healthy, tasty granola, adjusted it to her satisfaction and began giving it out as a gift. The feedback quickly sparked a business idea. When people started asking for more and if they ever thought about selling it, that’s when April and her husband took the steps to create their product-based health food company. I am so glad they did, because now we all have access to this amazing product. She shares so much wisdom in this episode as we sit down in my living room and talk all things business.

TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS EPISODE:

The reality of starting anything is that you’re going to make a ton of mistakes, that’s part of the learning process. Manage your expectations based upon how in you are on any one thing. It’s ok to admit you’re a beginner, everyone is at the beginning. If you change your physical state, it changes everything. Sometimes procrastination is an inner knowing that you’re not supposed be doing that thing.
