Episode 48: From Beef Jerky to Real Estate Financing and Investing with Dave Wolf

Today on Leafy Podcast, Dave Wolf of BoydHardMoneyLoans.com drops a ton of value to our listeners about real estate investing and financing with hard money loans. Dave Wolf is a successful real estate investor and serial entrepreneur. Dave has built and sold seven-figure businesses that span from beef jerky & truck accessories to $700 silk sheets, purchasing distressed business, turning them around and then selling them as profitable businesses. He got into real estate in 2016 and has done close to 100 deals since then including wholesaling, flipping, hard money lending, seller financing, joint ventures, out of state investing, subject 2's, and spec homes.  Dave runs through about half a dozen scenarios to help us understand when we need a hard money loan and weighting the benefits vs. risks. Dave tells us that hard money loans average interest is about 10% and should be used as a bridge loan. He says to expect to finance about 80-85% and close on the home in 14 days.
