What Is an Alpha Male?

An alpha male is a man who is highly intelligent, confident, and successful. 

Alpha males are generally considered great leaders and prefer to be in positions of power. 

Common traits alpha males possess include:

Being in a position of power

Being comfortable with high levels of responsibility

Liking to call the shots

Being the most powerful, impressive, or successful person in the room

Ability to draw people to them and have high levels of influence

An alpha male mindset is being confident and comfortable with yourself, having self-control, and staying in the moment, knowing you can handle anything.

The alpha–beta dynamic is confidence & capable versus bitching & weak. Betas are pathetic men; whereas, alphas kick ass in life. Everyone has the ability to be an alpha, and the world needs more! These are simple and basic things such as personal responsibility and integrity. Do you have it?

1. Embraces being uncomfortable and does something that scares him — alphas push themselves outside of their boundaries. Be willing to embrace your fears and be uncomfortable. 

2. Never criticizes without contribution — it’s easy to criticize. An alpha helps others be better because he sees them as trying. He’s not a keyboard warrior who is weak and pathetic. 

3. Respects others even if he disagrees with them — society today is full of insecure people who can’t deal with people who disagree with them. Alpha males don’t need to agree with someone’s lifestyle to respect it. 

4. Is strong physically, mentally, AND emotionally — it’s not easy but alphas understand that they have to deal with their issues, and thus, they are able to move forward. 

5. Is financially responsible — money stress robs every ounce of joy out of life. Alphas live below their means and invest. Scared money doesn’t make money. Decades of data show that globally diversified portfolios of low-cost index funds are the best way to put your savings to work. 

6. Doesn’t invest time, money, and energy in people who don’t deserve it — alphas get toxic people out of their life. Toxic people make you feel bad about yourself. 

7. Leads by example — what you see is what you get with an alpha. They walk the walk and talk the talk, and they don’t apologize for being themselves. 

8. Is humble — alphas acknowledge their mistakes and apologize. 

9. Is proud but not arrogant — they are proud of their accomplishments and who they are. They don’t boast or brag. True alphas understand being proud and confident without having to prove anything. 

10. Is a man of his word — alphas don’t bullish!t and don’t say ‘yes’ when they should be saying ‘no’.
