Women's Equality Day with Dr. Lois Phillips

Our guest is Dr. Lois Phillips, a former university administrator, then strategic planning consultant to organizations across sectors, and a communications consultant who studies gender differences in speaking and leading. She’s just published The History of Women Speakers: When Women Spoke up, they changed History and co-authored two books with Dr. Anita Perez Ferguson in the Women Seen and Heard series. Dr. Phillips' experience in strategic planning facilitation allows her to think broadly about the social trends and their impact on corporate culture, and the leadership team's role in messaging about corporate values as the organization grows and evolves. As a community leader, she has won awards for her work in affirmative action and diversity and has had op-ed columns published on current issues such as the economy, the media, and women in politics.
