The Eight Paradoxes of Great Leadership

Leaders at the top of their game must embrace the paradoxes of modern leadership. We must understand that strategies, tactics, and decision-making are important. However, to be outstanding, we have all got to be applying the behavioral and social sciences. But, how can we embrace these seemingly conflicting demands of today's workplace? Well, that’s where we are going in the next two episodes.

Our guest for the next two episodes is Dr. Tim Elmore. Tim is the founder and CEO of Growing Leader, an Atlanta‐based non‐profit organization created to develop emerging leaders. His work grew out of 20 years of serving alongside Leadership Icon, John C. Maxwell. That being said, Tim Elmore is not standing in anyone’s shadow. He has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, USA Today, Psychology Today, and he’s been featured on CNN’s Headline News as well as Fox and Friends to talk about leading multiple generations in the marketplace. Tim has written over 35 books including, Habitudes: Images That Form Leadership Habits and Attitudes. However, his latest book is The Eight Paradoxes of Great Leadership: Embracing the Conflicting Demands of Today's Workplace.
