Welcome to our special series on energy!  Feeling exhausted, emotionally drained and not being able to shift that feeling,  is something that a number of people have spoken to me about recently.

Of course, we could attribute a lot of it to living through a pandemic, but many would agree that it was present before COVID hit.

In this first episode, I'm exploring the solutions that many of us suggest to ourselves, notably around time management: the need for "me-time".  Interestingly, it's quite far removed from what research suggests.   Tune in to find out some practical ways to bridge the gap and propose better solutions to yourself with a couple of easy techniques that you use right now.

I refer to a book in this episode by Emily and Amelia Nagoski, Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle and I recommend it if you are interested in diving into the research in more depth.

In further episodes, I will be exploring why we hold onto those beliefs and how we can move ourselves forward towards finding solutions that work better for us individually.
