LCM, we have been engaged in the conflict of all conflicts from the very beginning. We were promised from the very beginning that we would crush the enemy AND that he would strike our heel. Yet it seems that what sometimes starts as a garden snake can grow into an enormous red dragon. The Lord is calling us to develop tachos, quickness to right action. He is simultaneously working out of us the fear of being bitten, in order to win! The agony of being bitten is fueling a cry to the Lord, deepening our dependence on him.
