Paying the Cost

“Paying the Cost” preached by Pastor Matthew and Pastor Wade, continues the “set out” direction we received from our New Years’ Service. Viewing through the biblical lens of the Nation of Israel and their experience with following the pillar of cloud, we learned that there is a price to pay for setting out. In setting out, we must be aware of the internal grumblings and external arguments that arise because of the desire to be comfortable without having to go through the affliction. Instead, we are joyfully embracing the afflictions that come with setting out because it is where we find the comfort of our King!
