Lavish Reception

This was truly an eye opening message preached by brothers Justin Treaster and Carlos Rueda. As the sermon was entitled "Lavish Reception", we learned that Peter during his time of faithful service on Earth was looking forward to the time Jesus would receive him into his kingdom. Jesus is way by which we will enter into the kingdom. He is the bodily representation of God the father in a way that we can see and follow. When Peter looked back at Jesus's life, he saw 7 progressive qualities that Jesus walked in as an example for us. This is what Peter admonished his brothers to walk in as he approached his own lavish reception into the kingdom. Add to your precious faith theses progressive qualities and you too will receive a lavish reception into the kingdom of heaven.
