Judah and His Brothers

“Judah and His Brothers” is a timely sermon for us to grab ahold of. Often times when we read about the sons of Israel in the book of Genesis, we put ourselves in the shoes of Joseph instead of who we actually reflect and resemble in the story most days of our life. The who being Judah and his brothers. Elder Eric and Pastor Judah helped us grapple with the reality that when we are envious, jealous, or find ourselves in contention with our brothers, it is because we don’t understand our heavenly Father and do not understand our identity as sons. The kingdom of God has always been built on brotherhood and the Lord is transforming our hearts to see that the only way to advance the Kingdom is at the cost of laying down our lives so that our brothers may find life!
