GameStop, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Grapevine, Texas, is a digital-first omni-channel retailer, offering games and entertainment products in over 5,000 brick-and-mortar stores and a comprehensive e-commerce property set across 10 countries. GameStop was also the center of attention for the beginning of 2021 as the media called focused on $GME (GameStop’s stock) through its meteoric rise from $4 a share to over $400 a share, ranging widely between those two numbers and ultimately declining in what some are calling a “pump and dump” scheme.
