South Africa is grappling with the largest outbreak of pandemic despite promising results arising from successful trials and worldwide acceptability of the COVID-19 vaccine. Recently, South Africa has announced it will inoculate its citizens with COVID-19 doses. The country has hardly managed to secure 20 million vaccines for its 60 million population. Because of its huge population, the South African government is unable to immunize every person with this limited consignment. The poor decision of the South African government made it crystal clear that widespread COVID-19 immunization is uncertain for its pandemic-stricken population.
