Deciding to jump on a business just because you think it’s fun can be a recipe for disaster, but Chris Bowers has found a way to turn it around and make it a lifestyle.

Bowers, owner of Morty’s Comedy Joint in Indianapolis, Wiley’s Comedy Joint in Dayton as well as former owner of a comedy club in Louisville, talks what it’s like to buy something just because you didn’t want to see it go away only to realize you might be the one that put the final nail in that coffin.

Most people strive for things, lots of things, Bowers has found a lifestyle that takes away the need for things to make him happy and instead is happy and content with only working a few days a month, eating what he wants, and enjoying what he has.
