We have a shower in our bathtub. You run the water to get it warm, then turn on the show. When you finish you have to turn off the shower or the next person will get blasted from above with cold water.
My wife, Twyla, almost always takes her shower first and a couple of weeks ago she forgot to turn off the shower. When I turned on the water, I was shocked to be hit with ice cold water from above. It was almost as shocking as following the State of the Union Speech, I found myself in agreement with Arkansas Governor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders when she said the choice in America is between normal and crazy. Sarah, the first step in change is admitting you have a problem.
Two nights ago I apparently forgot to turn off the shower and last night was one of those rare nights when I took my shower first and, turning on the water, I’m blasted with cold water above. As my Grandma used to say, life just isn’t fair.
