I once did a local, drive time, radio show when we lived in Oklahoma.  When we were done with the interview, the host asks me to say for the Tradio show.  Every rural radio show has a tradio show where listeners can call in to buy, sell, or trade stuff.  One caller says, “I want to trade a rototiller for a good lawn mower.”

I go, “I don’t know what a rototiller does, but my wife is a great lawn mower.”

All day at school, Twyla has students and teachers, saying, “Mrs. Rader, I heard you got traded for a rototiller.”

After school, Twyla’s in the office and the counselor says, “What do you do with a kid who can’t keep his mouth shut and never works to his potential?” 

Twyla says, “Apparently, you put him on the radio.”

Twyla makes me laugh, especially when she puts me in my place.  Thank you for listening and always remember laughter matters.
