The man who told the world about Auschwitz

How is it that most of us have not known the name of a man who broke out of Auschwitz as a 19 year old, and was able to tell the world about the terrible, terrible things that were happening there. 

He was Rudolf Vrba, although he was born Walter Rosenberg.
