Last Word on Habs Pod: Montreal Canadiens Depth

This week, the guys talk about the high octane Montreal Canadiens. The Habs offensive output this young season is the best in the league. After years of struggling to score goals and sweat out games, the guys find it refreshing to see the Habs scoring goals, almost at will. All the new additions have made an impact so far. For GM Marc Bergevin, it's been as perfect a start he could have wished for. It's been a very fun start of the season for Habs fans.

Still, there are things the Habs need to work on. The Habs are taking way too many penalties and their penalty kill has been a bit suspect. The Habs discipline has been a major part of their two losses this year.

Then the guys talk about the big trade of the week between the Winnipeg Jets and Columbus Blue Jackets. The guys talk about some of the takes they saw online about the move and about the players. Who was to blame for these players wanting out of their teams? The biggest takeaway is that these players might be right back in the same situation in 12 months from now.
