The 2024 transfer portal may not open until Dec. 4, but it is in full swing this week. Between the combination of grad transfers, entries at schools with a head coaching change and announcements of intent to enter, it feels like college football’s free agency frenzy is moving in earnest.

While there are already a lot of big names in the portal, there are still plenty of names of interest mulling a decision or waiting until the official opening date of Dec. 4. And in talking to sources across college football staffs and those in the player management space, it seems that the biggest dominoes have yet to fall.
