Dan Flores is a writer and historian who specializes in cultural and environmental history of the American West. He has written ten books, most recently Coyote America and American Serengeti, both of which we discuss in this episode. His essays on the environment, art, and culture of the West also appear in magazines such as Texas Monthly and Orion.
