During the pandemic last year, Donna and I purchased a little camping trailer. I’ve recently learned that the trailer has a short-circuit in it. Power is draining out and the battery won’t stay charged.

I find the kingdom of God may be like my trailer. A short circuit has developed in the life of the kingdom of God. Power is draining out and the battery won’t stay charged. And we, Jesus-followers, have something to do with it. The situation is described by Paul in this weekend’s scripture. If you want to get some info in advance, read Titus 3:1-2. It’s a huge thing for us to understand as we seek to live out Attractive Faith in Jesus.

We’ll also get to hear from one of our mission partners, Maribeth Sexton, who serves as our partner in Malawi. She’ll be talking about her work with children, progress on the land acquisition, and what’s next in bringing the good news of Jesus to Malawi. You’ll love hearing from Maribeth.
