Madrid are getting into their new style under Julen Lopetegui, beating Leganés 4-1 at the Bernabéu, while Barcelona doubled that scoreline, demolishing newboys Huesca 8-2.

There was a shock elsewhere, as Atlético Madrid had a real off day and lost at Celta Vigo, and the 2 big derbies in Spain ended Real Betis 1-0 Sevilla and Levante 2-2 Valencia.
