Grand County’s council wants to mandate face coverings to help limit the spread of coronavirus in the community. They are sending a request to the Governor, who recently approved face covering requirements in Salt Lake and Summit Counties. Health experts have noted the importance of wearing a mask when social distancing is difficult, especially because presymptomatic and asymptomatic individuals could spread COVID-19 to others. And later, tourism towns in Utah dependent on seasonal foreign workers might have trouble finding the labor they need after the recent suspension of certain work visas. Plus, women of color in the West share perspectives on racial injustice and police violence.

**UPDATE: The Southeast Utah Health Department reported 2 additional positive COVID-19 cases in Grand County as of 2:00 pm. Grand County now has 18 cases, 12 are labelled as recovered***
