As demonstrators across the nation continue demanding reforms for law enforcement, many communities large and small are beginning these conversations. Grand County Attorney Christina Sloan is the chief law enforcement official in the local community. Today on the news, we speak with her about how this national reckoning is pushing her office to look more closely at de-escalation policies and implicit bias training. The county is also planning to help host a community conversation on race with local law enforcement soon. We speak with Sloan on these efforts, and much more.
