The 2018 water year featured an intense drought that stuck to the Four Corners region. The snowpack was weak, the reservoirs didn’t fill, and the dryness made combating wildfires even more difficult. Last week, KZMU News reported on a study that found the drought was directly tied to the effects of human caused climate change. This week, our partners at KSJD in Cortez, Colorado speak with the study's lead author to understand how researchers approached data and what it could indicate for the future.
