As Grand County’s nearby national parks reopen to limited recreational access on Friday, local governing bodies will convene to discuss a potential timed entry system at popular Arches. Other public lands destinations like Rocky Mountain and Yosemite National Parks are planning similar strategies to limit capacity as visitors flock to fresh air and outdoor recreation during the health pandemic.
