With the spring runoff season right around the corner, Moab City is working to prepare the creeks for an influx of water. The city will contract with local nonprofit Rim to Rim Restoration to stabilize creek banks in a few key areas before water levels rise. Plus, author Shelley Read’s debut novel of loss and love, Go As A River, is set against the backdrop of a real Western Slope town submerged by the creation of the Blue Mesa Reservoir in the 1960s.
