Citing excessive noise and vibration as serious hazards to public health, the Moab City Council passed a noise ordinance this week aimed at quieting down the town. The noise ordinance becomes more strict at night between the hours of 8PM and 7AM . City council members said enacting these measures is not about penalizing a recreation group, but about respecting the citizens of Moab. Plus, our partners report that the Chaco Canyon area might offer some insight into the Biden administration’s environmental policy.
