Nearly 70 percent of American households have a pet, and many of them are dogs. In Moab, both residents and visitors are not just enjoying their dogs in their homes, but also outdoors on local trails. And just like other recreation enthusiasts, dogs can have an impact on the environment - especially when it comes to leaving paw-prints and waste on the desert soils. Today on the news, reporter Ashley Bunton explores these impacts and what local experts think we can do about them.
