The first annual Red Sand Powwow was held over the weekend at the Old Spanish Trail Arena grounds, bringing dance, music, and community to the Moab valley. Organizers hoped the powwow would promote healing while strengthening relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. And later, our radio partners report on the Great Salt Lake’s lowered water levels affecting wildlife in the region.
