In comparison to the last two months, downtown Moab is downright bustling this Memorial Day weekend. As the economy reopens, local businesses have implemented their own health and safety policies, from hand sanitizing stations to mask requirements. And later in the news, Grand County’s current health order will expire this week. Local health department and county representatives are busy negotiating with state officials on the next phase for the Moab community. We speak with Southeast Utah's Environmental Health Director to learn more.
