As parents dropped their kids off at school this morning, Moab educators and their supporters protested a potential special legislative session on tax reform. Income tax revenue – traditionally reserved for public education – is currently to slated to shift away from public schools and toward other state needs. Moab’s teachers waved signs urging lawmakers to block tax bills that hurt education or don’t invest in public schools.
