After years of careful persistence and encouragement by experts and residents in Moab, Utah’s Water Quality Board plans to finally permit simple, gravity-fed graywater systems across the state. That means Utah property owners could soon legally feed their bath and laundry water to their outside plants and garden. Before their unanimous vote to change their onerous graywater rule to a functional one, Utah Water Quality officials toured the first experimental graywater project in the state – a front yard garden in Moab.
