Organizers of the first annual Red Sand Powwow, slated for mid-September in Moab, say they aim to foster healing and unity through traditional dance and community gathering. SLC Air Protectors, a Native-American led organization that raises awareness about ongoing environmental crises in Utah, is collaborating with local nonprofit Full Circle Intertribal Center on the event. Today on the news, we hear from their executive director, Jacob Crane.
