Today you're going to hear some stories that I recorded while I was in Kenya. I've been to some far off places learning more about disability. Around the world, 66% of people who need a wheelchair to get around don't have one. More than that number can't attend school or university, hampering opportunity in life. Here's a few yarns with people helping to break that cycle in one of the toughest places in the world to live, especially if you have a disability. We talk about the acceptance of grief around the altered path of disability but the rejection of shame. This one was a special one for me as I got to take my mum along for the ride!
