DRUE makes one hell of an entrance with debut single “While I Still Do,” introducing her hypnotic vocal performance, laid back 808 beats, and ingenious lyrical style - available on all platforms January 19.  Starting with a mysterious voicemail sample, Drue slides in the track and effortlessly weaves in and out of the beat.

Recorded at Lounge Studios with mix engineer BLUE (Solange, Alloe Blacc), sound engineer Jordan Mitchell (Hamilton Mixtape), with beats from Swedish producer Dizzee, “While I Still Do” exemplifies DRUE’s undeniable presence as one of the most exciting new artists of 2018.

A New York native, DRUE moved to LA in 2014  to start a rock band. The result? A breakthrough change in perspective. “Before I moved to LA, I thought I was too cool to make pop songs and not cool enough to make hip hop,” says DRUE. “But living in LA, I realized that no one is really cool at all. So, I decided to just make whatever I want."

DRUE flew east and went to work, concocting her own genre of pop infused hip hop and hip hop infused pop with punk flare.

Alongside the music, DRUE is rolling out a stream of visuals and a line of limited edition merch to accompany “While I Still Do” starting with a lyric video and culminating with the release of a cinematic visual experience directed by Rock Jacobs. DRUE isn’t your average independent artist. She’s making BIG moves, fast. Keep up, because DRUE is about to break.
