Western Museum of Mining and Industry - February 16, 2022 - The Extra with Shannon Brinias

On Wednesday's "The Extra", guests  Dr Rick Sauers, Curator for the Western Museum of Mining and Industry, and Executive Director Grant Dewey joined us to talk about ongoing events at the Museum.  Also, there is a new, temporary exhibit opening at WMMI featuring the work of former local artist, Harvey Otis Young.  It opens February 22 and runs through June 25.  Tickets are available online or you can call the museum directly at 719-488-0880.   The museum is located at 225 North Gate Blvd, right off exit 156 across from the Air Force Academy.   More  info: wmmi.org
