Tom Shepard of Youth Documentary Academy - March 8, 2022 - KRDO Midday Edition

On Saturday, March 12 starting at 9:30 a.m. the SEW Coalition (Social Emotional Wellness) of the TriLakes area partners with Youth Documentary Academy to present “Year of the Story:  Monumentaries.”   This event utilizes poignant youth-produced films on topics of teen mental health and suicide prevention to generate intergenerational conversations between youth, their educators, parents and caregivers and community members.  Conversations will be facilitated by trained mental health professionals and volunteers.  The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and lunch and refreshments will be provided.  Registration is free but preregistration is required.  Register at The Year of the Story: Monumentaries Tickets, Sat, Mar 12, 2022 at 9:30 AM | Eventbrite.
